At Ruwaad Association for Community Initiatives and Events we hold that the events industry is not merely the organising of occasions. It is a knowledge-based, economic and social sector capable of creating opportunity, stimulating creativity, empowering talent and enhancing quality of life.
From this conviction, Ruwaad Association set out to be an effective platform contributing to the development of the events and community initiatives sector, through building an integrated system that brings together knowledge and research, capacity building, innovation, partnerships and the advancement of professional practice - thereby strengthening the impact of events and raising their quality and sustainability.
We devote particular attention to empowering young people and emerging talent, to opening new spaces for learning, participation and experience, and to connecting local competencies and capabilities with opportunity and expertise - while seeking to host and develop distinctive events that add genuine value to the community and enrich the cultural and social landscape of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah and the Kingdom.
We further hold that sustainable impact is not built by the effort of a single body, but through effective partnerships bringing together the non-profit sector, the public and private sectors and the community. We therefore seek to build strategic relationships that create shared value and translate ideas and initiatives into projects and opportunities of measurable impact.
Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah deserves an events sector befitting its standing in the world.
We draw our direction from the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which has made quality of life, capacity development, the strengthening of community participation, the growth of the non-profit sector and support for the creative economy foundational pillars for building a more prosperous and sustainable future.
